FULLY MACHINED SOLID ALUMINUM BASE SPACERS

Many of our customers ask us to extend the stroke of their crank, and that means you need to raise the cylinder. Falicon Solid Aluminum Spacer Plates are the answer for positive deck height setting. Our spacer plates are precision machined from billet aluminum stock, not rough-cut from gasket composites. This insures proper cylinder height that is so necessary for maximum performance.

ROD BOLT STRETCH GAUGE

NEW! When installing Rod Bolts, it is important to use a Rod Bolt Stretch Gauge to get the proper clamping pressure. A torque wrench will NOT do a good job in this application, since the clamping pressure varies too much due to thread lubricant, thread condition and other factors. Improper installation will generally lead to bolt failure, and will usually destroy the engine. Don't take a chance with your engine - use the proper tools and methods and you'll be much happier in the long run.

OIL PAN WINDAGE SYSTEM

NEW! Oil pan windage system. Folded and laser-cut, this tray’s sophisticated design bolts to the bottom of your crankcase.

In driving conditions with severe acceleration, the engine oil can collect away from the pickup, leaving your engine running at less than optimum oil pressure, and reducing service life.

There have been many instances of bearing failures in the Hayabusa motors that upon inspection, shows the cause to be a lack of oil pressure. What happens under hard acceleration is that the oil goes to the back of the pan and ramps up into the transmission gears away from the pickup. Then the oil pump sucks air instead of oil and feeds this air to the bearings. After a few microseconds of air, the bearing begins to overheat and material will start to flake off the bearing surface. In the worst case, the bearing overheats the rod, which loses its heat-treated strength and it breaks under the heavy load causing a catastrophic failure. Evidence of oil starvation can be seen on the bearing surface as a shiny freckled appearance, caused by the flaked material getting smeared back on the surface by the rotating crank. Also available for GSX-R 1000!

HAYABUSA DRY SUMP SYSTEM

NEW! Falicon now offers the most efficient and innovative dry sump system on the market to date! Designed specifically for your race HAYABUSA or GSX-R1000! The twin chamber gear pump is designed to replace the standard engine driven water pump. Water is then circulated by a separate electric pump (not supplied). The billet sump is machined to provide two oil take off’s to the suction pump, plus oil return feed from the remote tank (not supplied). A connector supplied delivers oil from the sump inlet to the standard engine oil pump. The system is designed to reduce engine height by 2.95 in. (75mm)! We recommend that only Aeroquip type hoses and fittings be used in all applications. All components are billet and anodized GOLD !
